Anya Cox
Senior Apprentice Coach
I am a physical therapist turned fitness instructor/coach with a desire to help my clients’ bodies heal and grow in ways they never thought possible. After working in the healthcare industry for over a decade, I knew there had to be a better way to promote lasting changes in my clients’ fitness, strength, and overall health. I started to take courses in treating fitness athletes and then jumped into the functional fitness world head-on when I joined Findlay Movement as a member in 2022.
I worked in outpatient orthopedics for a combined 12 years, working with a variety of patient populations, though I am passionate about working with lifters and fitness athletes of all ages. I don’t believe that there is an optimal age or background when it relates to athleticism and love to see my clients flourish and overcome challenges they never thought they could. Whether you are new to functional fitness, looking for something new to push your fitness boundaries or you have been dealing with chronic injury or pain and are tired of dealing with traditional healthcare models, let me be your guide. When I’m not working, I love spending time with my husband and 3 stinky little dogs. My husband affectionately calls me a plant, as I will do most any outdoor activity!
